i got the tips from facebook. just placed it here and make it shorter.
1) don't just reread your notes and readings
when students re-read a textbook chapter, they show no improvement in learning
2) ask yourself a lot of question
- use questions at the back of chapter or make up your own questions
3) connect new information to something you already know
4) draw out information in visual form
- flowcharts, visual models, diagrams
5) use flashcards
6) don't cram, space out your studying
- means no study last minute
