Assalamualaikum.

orang kata malu biar bertempat. jangan buat benda baik pun kita nak malu. cuba hakis perasaaan malu tak bertempat.

malu sebahagian dari iman. kalau nak dikira siapa yang paling tebal sifat malunya ialah Rasulullah sendiri. :)

Malu lah nak buat maksiat. duduk di bumi Allah, setiap apa yang kita buat pun Allah tengok, malaikat catat, Allah tahu apa lintasan di hati kita. Kita patut rasa malu dan tak sedap hati masa buat maksiat, buat dosa.

Nak tahu apa itu dosa? Dosa tu bila kita taknak orang tahu apa kita buat tu. Tapi fatwa hati ni hanya betul pada orang yang hatinya masih hidup. Bila hatinya masih boleh membezakan mana buruk dan mana baik.

Macam mana pulak nak tahu hati kita ni hidup? Kak Farah, pernah kata, " kita akan mudah menangis."
Yelah, bila kita mudah menangis mengenangkan dosa-dosa kita, berasa kerdil bila menghadap Allah, itulah KPI paling mudah kita nak tahu.

"Kalau kita tak mampu berpuasa di siang hari dan berqiamullail di malam hari, ketahuilah kita sedang hidup dalam kemaksiatan"

Allahurabbi.
Masih jauh perjalanan kita mencari redha Ilahi. Dalam setiap kita buat, kita nak redha Allah.
Every tiny things.

Assalamualaikum wbt.

When we struggle to make a change, yet it does not work according to our plan, do not give up and thinking your effort was useless. We are planning, yet Allah plans better.

Nothing is ever wasted.
“[And it will be said], ‘Indeed, this is for you a reward, and your effort has been appreciated.’” (Qur’an,76:22)

Do not worry, everything is recorded. even we do not get to get the result at this dunya, well at akhirah, you will see.
This give-up and rejection from not trying is actually from shaytan, they will try to make us to stop our effort. If you stop, who will be happier than shaytan?

If you try to work on your relationship with your family members but to no avail, remember, Allah knows about your pain. He won’t forget it, and He will give you compensation for it accordingly. If you want to work into making your community better, but something happens whereby everything you invested in it is suddenly gone, Allah always knows. The point is that we are not just about dunya even though we’re in it. When we fall, we pick ourselves back up again because we are also about the akhirah – our ultimate hope is in Him.
However, this doesn’t mean that we do the same thing over and over again knowing that it’s not working. What it means is not being defeated internally. We are Muslims, when one thing in our lives fails, it doesn’t make us feel down for an extended period of time because we know that even a step taken for the sake of Allah (swt) is rewarded. Let’s keep moving insha’Allah.

Dedicated for my friend, SSY.

Studying optometry, many British-Greek-Russian, such West names pop out from the books. I am waiting for any lecturers to come out with Muslim contributions for optometry. West people got all the names and glamour after they actually refer to Muslim ideas and contributions! Knowing the facts that Muslim was very great back then, at the time of Islam golden age where knowledge is so much important. So many figures that we can make them our idols and it is actually our obligation to know this people, because if we Muslim does not acknowledge this people, who else? who will? Yeah, no Nobel those days to appreciate them.

At least we know who is the person in our field. So, for optometry, this is it. :)

Abu Ali al-Hasan ibn al-Hasan ibn al-Haytham

Ibnu al-Haitham, or Al-Hazen in the West. He was a very great optometrist.
He was a optometrist, mathematician, astronomer and philosopher! Amazing isn't it?

He was the first person to test hypotheses with verifiable experiments, developing the scientific method more than 200 years before European scholars learned of it—by reading his books.

A devout Muslim, Ibn al-Haitham believed that human beings are flawed and only God is perfect. Subhanallah! :')
